So glad someone is doing 9-1-1 Lone Star icons. Not enough of that, 9-1-1 or even Chicago Fire to be honest. I need to start posting mine. :)

I really wish more people would make icons of it. I love having variety as everyone tends to have a different style when making icons and while I tend to make what I like, I also want to explore other ideas :)

Thinking of starting to do more over at my graphics comm to be honest, I hate my work. But at least will have more out there on here. I noticed LJ lacked a lot of both fandoms.

In the case of graphics, it's my experience that practice is the road to perfection. I've certainly come far from the first icons I made. And participating in contests - especially LIMS and Rumbles that required people to include feedback/reasons for negative votes - certainly helped me a lot to figure out what was working and what wasn't. Plus checking out a ton of tutorials I found in a community over on livejournal. I don't think I remember what it was called though.
